Project 365 Week 20

We've been counting down the days until school is out this week, and I can't wait! For now, I'll try to let the pictures do the talking...

Sunday: This was E's first time in the swing at the park across the street.

Monday: Tyler just loves to hold his baby sister.

Tuesday: I loved Gilmore Girls and love Parenthood, so I was happy to see this in my magazine!

Wednesday: It was our end of year ceremony for Girl Scouts. One of the moms made this amazing cake!

Thursday: Every Thursday, E comes to school with Ed so he can lead Cub Scouts. The kids love seeing her, and so does her Auntie Shari! About a minute after this picture, E spit up all over her.

I just love this picture of Tyler and his baby sister. I think the love between them is obvious!

Friday: This is how our team started the day on Friday. Yummy!

Saturday: Here's that other kid of mine! I like how Logan looks like Greg in this picture. That is actually Greg's hat. Boy is getting big!

The boys went to a Lego Engineering Workshop. They had a blast building cars.

I love this picture of my boys!

And just when you think this girl can't get any happier, that smile gets bigger!

I also took these two short videos of E. The first is of her and Tyler riding on the mall ride. I'm not sure what's cuter, her giggling or Tyler giggling about her giggling. The second one is of her playing peekaboo.

This gal is ready for summer! Here's to a quick week!

Project 365 Week 19

SO GLAD the week is over! I had been sick with a nasty cold for about a week. On Sunday, I started experiencing vertigo with vomiting, and that was enough to get me to the doctor. Sure enough, I had an  inner ear infection, bronchitis, and a sinus infection. Even though I have no sick days left (thanks to my district's extended leave policy), I did call in Monday, but it was back to work with antibiotics on Tuesday. I'm be so happy when the school year is over.

So...my week is kind of hit-and-miss. I'll try to do better this week!

Sunday: Sick. Boo!

Monday: I ordered a headband for E for Memorial Day/4th of July. This is what the flower looks like on the front. Can't wait to get it.

Tuesday: E has taken up beating toys on her highchair tray. Cute...for about the first 30 seconds.

Wednesday: No "real" pictures. But I did take a screenshot of this statement. Fitting for me and my boys.

Thursday: It had been raining all week. And we're on water restrictions. So I was a bit baffled to see the sprinklers going at the school. While it was raining.

And how cute is this little girl?

Friday: No picture. Not sure why.

Saturday: I love how much Tyler loves Emmalyn. Just don't remind him that she was born on HIS birthday.

Love this girl.

I've realized I seriously need more pictures of the boys. I'll work on that! Have a blessed week!

Project 365 Week 18

Another busy week! I am counting down the days until school is out for the year (14 days). I think being gone those 3 months really affected my relationship with the kids, and forced me to change the way I teach specific concepts. I think that's the main reason I'm ready for the year to be over. I just want a clean slate. Plus I am really looking forward to spending more time with Ed and the kids.

On to our week...

Sunday: Apparently the only picture I took was a screenshot of the weather. I was focusing on Wednesday because we had an outdoor field trip scheduled for Wednesday. The weather was not looking good.

Monday: Not very exciting, but I took this picture of a kid's planner at a school we went to visit.

Tuesday: Once again, tracking the weather for Wednesday. We were kind of stuck because the place we were going did not give refunds and there were no more days available to reserve a bus. We sent a note home and stuck stickers on the kids that reminded them to bring a coat, winter hats, and gloves.

Wednesday: We pushed through! It snowed the entire time we were there,  and the temperature was in the 20s, but it was still fun.

I love this picture of my class trying to get up the hill.

Thursday: This is what it looked like when I left at 6am. Believe it or not, when I got home it was ALL GONE.

Also, it's crunch time for Box Tops. I cut them off of everything in my cupboard.

Friday: I cannot believe this girl is sitting in a high chair. Sigh.

Saturday: Girl got some sweet sandals. So cute!

Here's to a quick week! I'm ready for summer!

Project 365 Week 17

Somehow I missed a couple of pictures this week. Not sure what happened...but we'll continue on!

Sunday:

Busy Sunday! Tyler had a couple of friends spend the night. I made them homemade waffles for breakfast!

I finally got a picture of the tooth!

The girl and I spent the day together. We went to get my car washed, and when we got there I saw that they had opened a BBQ place inside. I got a brisket sandwich and green beans. Yummy!

Later we met Ed for dinner.

Monday: No picture. Boo! Probably because I was in shock about the coming weather the next day.

Tuesday: Yup. This is what we woke up to. Crazy, huh?

Might not seem exciting, but we're trying to win the Box Top competition at school. Ed's mom sent me a bunch all the way from Georgia!

Finally got the tree up in E's room.

Wednesday: I finally hung up the butterflies. They started out as black, but I painted them ivory so they would match.

Thursday: I love these two goofballs. And I love how much Tyler loves her.

I took this picture while I was sitting at a traffic light. I just thought it looked cool.

Friday: Went to do the Incline after work with Shari (right), and then we met up with Laura (left) to eat dinner and do a little work for next school year. Laura works at district, so I don't get to see her as much  anymore.

Saturday: Someone realized that her toes make excellent chew toys!

I know I'm late getting this up...but the school year is winding down, and it has been crazy!

Have a blessed week!
